ABOUT
I'm Hi Howard. For more than two decades, I've been doing work I love: helping leaders and teams cut through complexity to find their path forward.
My facilitation journey began in community development on Chicago's South Side, where I learned that bringing diverse voices together requires both structure and heart. Since then, I've designed and facilitated, independently and with colleagues, over 400 sessions for nonprofit organizations, education leaders, and corporate teams—always with the same core belief: when people feel genuinely heard and engaged, remarkable things become possible.
My facilitation practice has been shaped by work in three distinct arenas. In the nonprofit world, I've helped organizations clarify strategies, build coalitions, and align stakeholders. In education, I've co-designed and co-facilitated hundreds of professional learning experiences with school and district leaders. In the corporate space, I've supported executive teams in clarifying strategy, sparking innovation, and strengthening their effectiveness.
I don't believe in one-size-fits-all facilitation. Every engagement begins with deep listening—understanding your context, challenges, and what success looks like. From there, I co-design experiences that blend structure with creativity, ensuring everyone's voice is heard while keeping the group moving toward meaningful outcomes.
